Chief Financial Officer Josef Kreiterling to become a member ot the board of operating insurance companies

Consistent financial responsibility for all companies in ERGO Austria International AG to be established.

With effect from 1 January 2011, Josef Kreiterling will be taking responsibility for all companies belonging to the ERGO Austria International holding company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The holding company includes the operating insurance companies BANK AUSTRIA Versicherung and VICTORIA-VOLKSBANKEN Versicherung, as well as ERGO Insurance Service GmbH, in which back office activities such as assessment, accounting, controlling, human resources and IT have been brought together. ERGO Austria International also includes international subsidiaries in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania and San Marino.

Josef Kreiterling has been a member of the Board of Management of the holding company since October 2007, and has been Chief Executive Officer of ERGO Insurance Service GmbH since January 2009. In addition, he will also be appointed to the Board of Management at both BANK AUSTRIA Versicherung and VICTORIA-VOLKSBANKEN Versicherung as of 1 January 2011. This will centralise responsibility for finance and administration in all Austrian ERGO companies.

Kreiterling, who was born in the Rhineland in 1969, has been working for the ERGO Insurance Group for 13 years, and transferred to the Austrian subsidiary in Vienna in 2007. Josef Kreiterling is married and has two daughters (aged 3 and 5).
